Hey there, and welcome to TucsonClub. First of all let me explain what this is, and why I decided to create it. For about 2 years now I have been apart of the last Tucson page here on DeviantArt, and for that last 2 years I the page has only been updated a handful of times. So I took it upon myself to create a new Tucson page, one that will hopefully be updated every week or so. So how does this page differ from the last page you might ask? Good question. Well, as I understood it, the last page was open to everyone and the art posted on the page was only to be Tucson oriented. Although a good idea I believe that limited the page. Instead, I would like to show off Tucson artists not necessarily just work about Tucson. That means that one can submit work that how absolutely nothing to do with Tucson, just as long as you are from the Tucson. And of course anyone can join, even if you are not from Tucson, but the main goal of this page is to show off the amazing amount of talent that we have here in Tucson.

So who am I? Well, first of all I am a digital photographer, and in the grand scheme of things I am fairly new to the art world. I got my first digital camera back in 2000 and started out by just taking the random family/party photos. Very forgettable for the most part. And over time I found myself starting to get more into nature photography, and it just grew from there. Last year I got my first DSLR it is a Canon 20D and with that I started taking photo classes at Pima Community College. And it was these classes that really forced me to try taking pictures that I would never have even considered taking. And although I still consider myself very much an amateur compared to many of you, it has greatly opened my eyes and showed me that there are many very talented artists living here in Tucson and it is my view that their work should be shown, and thus back to the reason why I decided to start this page.

OK … so if anyone has any work that they would like to have posted here, please let me know. Just send me a note and I will make sure to post your work along with a link to the original work and any comments you would like me to add. And again this is not limited to work about Tucson or even photography. It can be anything from a poem to a painting to an impressive theme that you created for Trillian . With that said.
